Dicy the dice

You play as a small armed dice. Your objective is to get as far as possible and your only movement option is to use the recoil of your weapon to move in the direction you want. Use your ammunition wisely because you don't want to run out of it!

We made this game in team of two during 48h for the GMTK Jam 2022 for the theme "Roll of the dice". 

Theme interpretation 

We made several choices to fit the theme: The roll of the dice

• You play a die as the main character
• Your ability to move is determined by the number of dots on the apparent face of the die
• The map is procedurally generated and is different at each loading

However, as we wanted the player to have enough control over the game, we also introduced abilities to get through complicated situations.

• With enough speed it is possible to destroy the scenery
• After destroying enough barriers, you become even more powerful
